1976 Olympic Gold Medalist to Pose for Sports Illustrated

Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner who set a world decathlon record at the 1976 Olympic Summer Games, will be gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated, posing nude with nothing but the gold medal, an American flag, and a smile.

Former Olympian Bruce Jenner dominated entertainment news and tabloids and won the hearts of LGBTQ communities nationwide when he underwent sex reassignment surgery in 2017 and became the most famous openly transgender woman in the world – as Caitlyn Jenner.

Caitlyn has since been very politically involved in the push for trans rights from behind the scenes, opting to do her work quietly because she says she gets a lot more done than if she were to stick her nose into everything publicly.

In celebration of the 1976 world record win at the Montreal Summer Games, 69 year old Caitlyn will be featured on a cover of Sports Illustrated this summer, posing nude with her medal for the first time since her transition.
